The holidays can be one of the most magical times of the year, but it can also be the most stressful. There is shopping and cooking to do, money to be spent, parties to attend, families to visit, and there can be very little time to rest and recover from the busyness of it all.
New Age Teacher is not absent from this list of go, go, go. For the past month, I have been moving and shaking at what seems like light speed. It is now time for me however, to walk the walk, and talk the talk that share I with you each week in my posts.
The end of December, and of an entire year, is a great time to go inward and to reflect on the year in its entirety. Try to carve out some time to journal, chat with others, or meditate about the 360 something days that have just passed you by.
What did you accomplish this year?
What were your successes?
What were your challenges?
How did you surprise yourself and how did others surprise you?
Where did you examine yourself experiencing tremendous growth and enlightened encounters?
What areas of your life require more growth and development in 2016?
When you take this time to observe a year in its entirety, you’ll be surprised with what is reflected back. You can learn a great deal about yourself by doing so and intend for a year of further success and triumph in the coming New Year as a result.
So, between the sweet tastes of egg nog and the crackling sounds of ripping Christmas paper, see if you can take a step back and enjoy a moment or two for you – you will thank yourself for this season’s greatest gift.
To loop back to my words at the beginning, it is now time for New Age Teacher to follow her own advice. I will be taking these next few weeks to enjoy my loved ones and my own quiet solitude. In this time, I will allow myself to recharge in a way that helps me to further support you (my AMAZING followers) and to create even more material for you in the coming New Year.
